Titles

Catalogue

The titles the house publishes under its name. Each one stands apart from the others: no shared ad network, no recycling of articles from one site to the next. All of them are open, and nothing stops you timing them.

Client work

A client site, open to visit

The rest of this page gathers the titles the house publishes under its own name, then mock-ups for invented brands. This one is neither: it is a client site, in service.

Home page of Club de patinage de la Gruyère

Sports club www.cpgr.ch

Club de patinage de la Gruyère

The first site the house built for someone else: timetables, courses, sign-ups and the season calendar. The committee edits the words, the images and the documents itself from an online editor, and an update goes live with no intervention from the workshop.

Note

Why other clients’ sites are not listed here

Apart from the reference that opens this page, the list above covers only the titles the house publishes under its own name. A site built for a client belongs to that client: it is named only if the client agrees, and that agreement is asked for plainly, with no form to fill in. Further client references are given on request.

Demonstrations

Demo catalogue

Thirty-one mock-ups, built end to end for brands that do not exist. None has a client behind it, none sells anything: these are the workshop’s trials, open to visit. You look at a direction whole rather than reading a description of it.

Houses and products

Brands that sell an object, where everything hangs on materials: conveying a taste, a scent or a polish on a screen that has none of the three.

The same brief, answered two or three times

Each of these sets answers a single brief in several complete and opposing versions. They are the most useful demonstration here: a direction is chosen by seeing it whole, not by hearing it described.

Note

What these mock-ups are not

None of these brands exists: not the houses, not the practices, not the shops. The addresses, prices and people they show are invented, and the sites are closed to search engines so that none is taken for a real business. Mock-ups built for an actual client or prospect are not shown here either: they carry that party’s name, and a name is not published without their agreement.
